Teamviewer

                     Teamviewer (version: 6)  is one of the widely used application which is used to gain remote access to the remote computer through the local computer. By using this tool you can share your personnel details stored in your computer with other person by sitting in the computer and using this tool. Teamviewer is the best software for the remote access. To gain remote access, the local computer must know the ID and password of the remote computer. By using these two you can connect your computer with the remote one.

                      There are 3 modes of connection. They are Remote control, file transfer and VPN. Remote control is used to gain remote access. By using this mode you can only view the overall data and gain remote control with the system. For example., if your friend connects his system with your system using remote control, he can control your overall system i.e., mouse, keyboard, hard disc, etc. But he cannot view your removable devices such as pen drive, removable hard disc, etc. By using this mode one cannot copy or move files from remote computer to the local.

                       The second mode is file transfer. By using this mode, one can copy data from remote to the local. To transfer files such as music, photos, etc from remote system to the local, this mode of connection is used. The third mode is VPN (Virtual Private Network). This mode of transfer provides secure access to remote system. By using this mode one can print documents on shared printer, make peripheral devices and files in local network accessible for external partners, can access remote database from the local front end, etc.  

                       In order to improve communication, Teamviewer also provides video, audio and text chatting. By using this the communication level between the 2 partners increases. The ID and password of your system will be seen at the left side once you start with the Teamviewer. To start with a connection, first you must enter the remote computers ID and then select the connection mode in 3 options. Then a dialog box opens asking for password. Enter the password of the remote system and click okay. Connection will be established with respect to the mode of connection. Two partners can connect each other in different modes at the same time.
